Back in February of 2020, LOONA released their album "#," including the music video of "So What." Due to mental health issues, the member HaSeul was back and forth in 2019, taking breaks from promotion until in 2020 it was confirmed she was diagnosed with anxiety disorder.
Later in 2020, for the second album of the group that year, "12:00", HaSeul was announced to not participate in the new releases too. In 2021, she was confirmed to be back in the group for the new promotions. However, fans still didn't have the opportunity to see her participating in any performance of the songs while she was absent during her hiatus.
While being in a self-quarantine due to COVID-19 amidst the release of the new album "&," the LOONA members got into VLIVE every day, sharing stories and singing songs for their fans. HaSeul gifted her vocals to songs like "So What," "new," "Singing In The Rain," etc.
Taking HaSeul's vocals from that VLIVE, the music producer Zsunder shared on Youtube a version of "So What," including the 12 members of LOONA. Fans commented: "She totally fits the iconic bridge part!", "HaSeul's vocals sound so clean, it can't be from the VLIVE audio," "What if Zsunder is a BlockBerry Creative producer?", "Is this considered a leak?", and more.
