First-week sales for BTS's 'Butter' CD single capped at 1.975 million

According to Hanteo chart on July 16, BTS's special CD single 'Butter' has sold a total of 1,975,364 copies during the first week of sales!

Released back on July 9, the CD single version of 'Butter' contains a total of 4 tracks including the 'Billboard Hot 100' topping hit "Butter", the group's new collaboration track with Ed Sheeran "Permission to Dance", as well as the instrumental versions of both tracks. 

At 1.975 million copies in first-week sales, 'Butter' has officially recorded the 4th highest first-week sales ever on Hanteo chart record. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place records are also all held by BTS, with 'Map of the Soul: 7', 'BE (Deluxe Edition)', and 'Map of the Soul: Persona'.
