Famous Indonesian film director Upi Avianto praises Jin's acting talent and skills
Upi Avianto is a famous Indonesian film director and scriptwriter. She directed several of the most popular 2000s films. Her works became the start of many successful actors.
On July 8, she talked about the Louis Vuitton Runaway show made in collaboration with BTS. Upi Avianto said Jin was the one who caught her attention, and this is why:
"As a director, I want to give appreciation to Jin. For me he showed his skills in acting. His acting is so flawless. The gestures are small but deep. When we see his expression we seem to enter into his mind and wonder what is he thinking? he looked like he was holding something in his mind. is it good or is it bad? like a mystery that makes us curious. i love it. I can imagine Jin as a serial killer in a movie. it would be awesome."
Seokjin was so riveting on screen! I was captivated with the way he moved, his subtle expressions In those 50s, we can make an entire plot! His angel-like features can be protagonist & antagonist at the same time. Subtlety at its finest!
It is widely known that Jin is the actor of BTS; his natural acting skills made him the graduate of Konkuk Acting Major with over 10 years of acting sphere experience. Jin might be the only idol who always goes viral not only for visuals and vocals but also for acting!
Some of you may not know that Seokjin had gotten accepted in Sejong University too who acceptance rate is also v high (157:1) but he chose Konkuk university (201:1) and for admission he had do acting in 2 stages in which he passed with flying colors
The most admirable features of Jin's acting brilliance are his natural versatility and the ability to tell stories even with just the look in his eyes. It's an extremely difficult level of acting: expressing emotions with only your eyes. He always leaves the public deeply impressed by it.
his emotion through his eyes, Kim Seokjin another level of acting !!
"Acting is like sculpture, it's what you take away from yourself to reveal the truth of what you're doing that makes a performance" - Orson Welles
Seokjin finds the person that he needs at that precise moment every time on stage, he finds the person he wants to portray within himself, his art comes from the possibility of everything he could be, of everything he is and is not. He's the potential, a thousand men in just 1, he's the lover, the artist, the killer, the detective, the hero, the villain. And it was evident in the LV runway show, we saw microexpressions, subtle movements, I was waiting for the twist because there's was not a second during his part that felt determined, it felt like a crossroad, a path divided into endless opportunities. It was a fashion show, the objective was to show the garments and he succeeded in that but he also showed the life of the man wearing those clothes, the story of such a man, in him seconds felt like a lifetime, of someone we don't know but could be among us. He was everything. This is why there's a high demand for an acting debut, we want to get lost in stories told by someone's eyes and silence, told by body language, and the things we don't say. We can already tell what sort of actor Seokjin will be, in our mind he's already so many characters, in our mind, he has saved the world at least twice. This ability, this magic he creates should not go unnoticed, he should not be held back, his natural talent should not remain hidden, you are obstructing a thousand stories to come to life, a thousand men who don't exist yet. Don't rob me of my hero nor my villain.

I know a lot of fans want him in a Kdrama, but I don't, I want him on the big screen. He has movie star qualities, because he owns the screen and is very intense. It's pretty obvious that he went to drama school. Also, he has old school film actor personality, I mean his real personality. So, fingers crossed for villian Jin on the movie screen debut!
