On May 6, Gaon chart released a list of the newly certified songs and albums for the month of May!

First, in the album sales category, the following have been certified Platinum this month for surpassing 250,000 copies in sales - IU's 'Lilac', Super Junior's 'The Renaissance', BLACKPINK Rosé's '-R-', WayV's 'Kick Back', ATEEZ's 'Zero: Fever Part. 2', and Stray Kids's 'Clé: Levanter'. 

Additionally, BTS's 'Map of the Soul: Persona' has officially been certified Quadruple Million, after surpassing 4 million copies in sales. 

In the song streaming category, four new additions have been listed as Platinum this month, surpassing 100 million streams. They include MC The Max's "Bloom", MAMAMOO Hwa Sa's "Maria", OVAN's "How Are You", and TWICE's "Fancy You".
