itsmesosayhi (Banned)-778 pts Sunday, May 9, 2021 34I always found it funny yet sad how the kpop industry and kpop fans supports idols who aren't Korean (as they should) but IMMEDIATELY turn down people who look western. I really wanna know why.
Let's say, a western looking person speaks fluent Korean, knows the culture and is multi- talented; Why doesn't he/she get the same praise as people who AREN'T Korean example, Lisa (BP), Momo, Sana (Twice). If kpop is really more about language then why do people like Lana get scrutinized?
imagine if people say "this space is only for white people" the amount of people that would say that's racist (as they should). Are we not seeing the double standard. It's like people think minorities can't be racist to other minorities or be racist in general.
