Youn Yuh Jung has taken home an Oscar for her role in 'Minari'.

She is the first Korean and the second Asian actress in Oscar history to win an Oscar. (She is the first Asian actress to win one since 1957.) She took home Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 93rd Academy Awards. This is after she already snagged Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture at the 27th Screen Actors Guild Awards earlier this month.
