X1 was an 11 member project boy group formed through the show Produce X 101 (season 4 of the Produce series). They had a 5-year contract and were managed by Swing entertainment. Unfortunately, the group disbanded 5 months after their debut in August 2019 due to the scandal Mnet faced related to the Produce series and other survival shows. It was revealed that the voting had been rigged, contestants had been snubbed, and placements had been predetermined. It's a shame that all the contestants who worked hard with the dream to debut were unfairly taken advantage of.
The group had its final lineup with the winning contestants being Seungwoo, Seungyoun, Wooseok, Yohan, Hangyul, Junho, Dongpyo, Minhee, Eunsang, Heongjun, and Dohyon. They debuted on August 27th, 2019, with their first mini-album Emergency: Quantum Leap and title track "Flash." The group holds the record for the shortest time taken to earn their first weekly show win, 5 days. The group also holds the record for the highest first-week sales for a debut album, over 500,000 copies, a record previously held by Kang Daniel. Their title track "Flash" also holds the record for the fastest boy group debut music video to reach 100 million views doing so in just 334 days. The record was previously held by TXT, which took 348 days. X1 was destined to do many great things, and, sadly, they disbanded, but all of the former members have moved on and luckily been able to re-debut elsewhere. Let's take a look at where they are now!

That is where all of the former X1 members currently are. I am happy that they have all moved on and are still working in the Kpop industry. Which of these new boy groups do you stan? Who was your former X1 bias?
