BTS’s Jimin becomes the "First & Only" Korean artist with 2 solo songs surpassing 130 million streams on Spotify
BTS Jimin has been making major milestones on the world's biggest music platform which proves how well-loved and extremely popular his songs are across the globe.
Today marks another record for BTS Jimin as he is the "First and Only" Korean solo artist to have 2 songs surpassing 130 million streamson Spotify.
On March 21, Jimin's solo song "Lie" from BTS's 2016 album "Wings" has reached 130 Million streams on the platform while "Filter" from the band's fourth studio album "Map of the Soul: 7" has crossed 135 million streams.
Additionally, "Lie" sets the record as the first and only solo song from "Wings" album to cross 130 million streams on Spotify. It is also the most streamed of 2016 and the 6th most streamed among Korean solos. Lie's record is one for the books as it is also Jimin's first creation as a songwriter and composer. Talk about a masterpiece way ahead of its time.
Meanwhile, Jimin breaks the record as "Filter" becomes the fastest unpromoted Korean solo song and Korean male solo song to achieve 135 millions steams in just 393 days from its release.
To top it all off, "Serendipity (Full Length Edition)" by Jiminhas surpassed 128 million streams on the same platform. There's really no stopping Record Maker Jimin with his triple feat on Spotify today. He is on a roll!
