Gong Hyo Jin in talks to return as female lead of new Netflix original series 'Woman of Danger'

On February 9, actress Gong Hyo Jin's agency Management Soop told media outlets, "Gong Hyo Jin is currently positively considering appearing in the Netflix original drama 'Woman of Danger'." 

If cast in the series, this will mark Gong Hyo Jin's first new small-screen series in approximately 2 years. The actress is in talks to play the role of a star drama scriptwriter known for her over-the-top dramatic plots and twists, named Kim Ma Ri.

Directed by Lee Won Suk with the script written by Kim Soo Ah, 'Woman of Danger' is said to deal with a mix of interesting characters living in a story full of drama cliches. However, instead of going along with all of the drama cliches in their lives, they plan to take matters into their own hands with unexpected twists on top of every other twist and turn.
