Two hours before his birthday Kim Seokjin (JIN) of BTS released a track called "Abyss." The song received a lot of attention and praise for its musical uniqueness and groundbreaking powerful vocals. The song's meaning is a courageous step for a kpop artist - Jin is sharing his mental struggles because of the burnout he was feeling. 

On February 16, 2021, "Abyss" became the 3rd most-liked audio on YouTube by a Korean artist with 2.7 million likes (following "Sour Candy" with 3.6M likes & "Kiss and Make Up" with 2.9M likes by the girl group Blackpink).

Additionally, Jin also became the third most commented Korean artist after PSY and Suga.
