2020 was a year of tremendous growth and exposure for BTS's V as a musician. All of V's releases this year broke records and established him as a top artist.

'Sweet Night,' which V released in March of 2019 as an OST for JTBC's hit drama series, 'Itaewon Class,' established him as South Korea's 'OST King' because of the prodigious worldwide success it received.

The same song has created yet another record by becoming the 'Most-streamed song released by a Korean Male Soloist in 2020' by garnering 92M streams in less than a year's time! It is also the most-streamed Korean OST of 2020.

The low-tempo ballad, which directly translates in Korean to Danbam (a key element of Itaewon Class' plot), mesmerized many and made a world record by topping the iTunes Charts in 117 countries.

After 'Sweet Night' was released, the followers on V's Spotify page skyrocketed, and by year-end, he has become the 6th most followed Korean soloist with 2.1M followers and only two releases.

Honoring all the records that V broke with an unpromoted OST which had limited plays in the drama, V is set to receive an award for 'Best OST 2020' for Sweet Night at APAN Awards. His music career is soaring to magnificent heights!
