Park Jimin, the lead vocalist and the main dancer in BTS become a hot topic and was seen to trend worldwide after he reminded fans to take precaution during typhoon season. In his recent tweet, Jimin who also shared several new photos said, "It's a relief the typhoon has passed. It is said that it will return next week, so please be careful".

It was reported recently that South Korea are facing the most powerful typhoon this year which is Typhoon Bavi. Packing with a maximum wind speed of 155 kilometers, the typhoon was reported to hit the southern island of Jeju on Wednesday afternoon. According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the strong winds and rain knocked out power to hundreds of homes and damaged buildings, trees, street lamps, telephone poles, road barriers and signboards in Jeju. More than 480 domestic flights in and out of Jeju and the southern mainland city of Busan were cancelled as of Wednesday evening. South Korean authorities also shut public parks and sea bridges and moved hundreds of fishing boats and other vessels. As for now, lets hope there will be no further damage and pray for the safety of everyone there.
