Upcoming Overwatch rival “Valorant” stars a South Korean girl named “Jett” as one of its protagonist

Valorant is an upcoming first person team shooter releasing for PC


One of the main characters of the game is named Jett, a South Korean native who is a wind based dualist





She & the other protagonist named Phoenix were showcased in the latest trailer

All of the currently revealed characters have official Spotify playlist as well. Jett’s playlist consist of Korean artist such as Yezi, Bibi, Yoon Mirae,  & MCMD

Over the past few years, there has been more & more Korean representation in video games. Characters such as D.va from Overwatch, Crypto from Apex Legends, Juri from Street Fighter, Seong Mina from Soul Calibur, & Kum Haehyun from Guilty Gear are being represented
