-In January 2020, Chen has shared the amazing news of his upcoming baby and since then antis and haters have been attacking and harassing him and other members of the group EXO. Not only that, they have been harassing those EXOLs who are in support of Chen and making their support extremely difficult.

-This started with attacks and hate comments on the Lysn app. Which is a community website that EXOLs can use to interact with members. This is also the app where Chen chose to write a letter which announced his news.

Despite the community rules of Lysn clearly stating that no harassment or hate comments will be tolerated, antis have been allowed to run rampant on this site with no repercussions.

-It did not stop here, but they transferred their hatred to Twitter and started campaigns to raise hashtags of hatred daily with more than 30 hashtags since January, and they have even attacked Chen's fans and they made negative environment for Twitter's users.

Although their behavior violates the laws of Twitter.

-As if they weren’t content, a group of antis have made a movement called ‘exolacecafe’ which exists solely to spread negativity and hatred for Chen. At first they did a physical protest, which was a failure and embarrassing not only for them, but for other EXOLs. Then they collected money for an anti truck outside the SM entertainment building. We believe this campaign was also a failure.
Now, instead of accepting this news and being happy for their idol, they are choosing to bully and harass him in his own hometown by paying for his ads displaying negative images and messages.


We thought twitter would take a stance and ban @exolacecafe . This group has been using twitter as their breeding ground. Yet despite many EXOLs request to remove them, nothing has been done.

 - they didn't stop here  but they will display hate banners on 6 buses in Chen's hometown on 16 march, despite the fact that "General advertising requirements: an ad is recognized as unfair, which damages the honor, dignity or business, reputation of a person.

Yet this has been going on for months and now involves Chen’s parents, home town and relatives.

-In addition, while we can say that the acts of these antis are deplorable, we want to take this opportunity to say that the AD AGENCY that have decided to go ahead with this, knowing what message is on this , is treading on dubious moral grounds. All for a bit of money. 

-Despite their full knowledge of SM's and EXO's position towards the topic and their announcement that Chen will not leave EXO and will continue to work as a member of EXO and as a solo artist, they continue with their various threats such as death threats and encroachment on his and his family’s safety. 


We all know that bullying is a problem. We know there are many anti bullying campaigns out there. So why is this being allowed?

Sm entertainment apparently have a zero teller an eye policy against harassment of their artists.
