YG sent their Chinese trainees Jane Wang & Vicky Wei on the hit idol group survival program “Youth With You”.
As they were introducing theirselves, they mentioned “Baby Monster”.
This name is familiar as YG has recently put a trademark for the exact name “Baby Monster”, which came shortly after officially confirming plans to debut a new girl group this year.
Jane & Vicky impressed the judges with their amazing performances, leading to both girls ranking at B.
They also mentioned that a fellow female trainee under the company composed the song that they performed.
This hints that not only are the potential members of the upcoming YG Girl Group are talented in their performing abilities, but talented in taking input & adding to their music.
The group is rumored to have a multinational lineup with pretty members who are all rounders, and that it will be a big sized group.
Jane & Vicky’s performance which showcased their rap, vocal, and dance skills, the unarmed fellow trainee who composed their song, and them being Chinese (adding to the multinational aspect) further gives the information credibility
Fans are saying that this group will be YGs answer to Twice, who is the current #1 girl group & nations girl group
Before even starting to think of beating TWICE, try beating Red velvet, ITZY and IZONE first, lol

YG’s entire mentality is wrong. Blackpink/Pink Punk was supposed to be YG’s SNSD. Now Baby Monster is supposed to be YG’s Twice (and keep in mind that a lot of people already say Twice is JYP’s SNSD). YG had an original girl group in 2NE1 and slept on it. They have a great thing going with Blackpink but are doing everything they can to sabotage the group. How is this supposed to be different? At least they’ll be self-produced so hopefully they won’t keep doing the same song every comeback because Teddy was too lazy to do something decent and original for a change.
