Kim Hayeon, also known by her Chinese name as Hui Yan, is one of the newer YG trainees the agency has scouted, and is a potential member of the planned YG Girl Group “Baby Monsters”.

Hayeon is a ‘05 liner who specializes in vocal. She is fluent in Korean, Chinese, and English.

She is already getting attention do to her extremely cute visuals.

YG has a number of female trainees with cute visuals, such as ex-Idol School contestant Kim Eunkyul, alongside ex(?)-skoolooks model Ahn Subin.

YG has confirmed that they are planning to prepare their girl group this year. And the trademark “Baby Monsters” (which originally was planned for BlackPink) was solidified this January.

With Baby Monsters rumored concept being cute and bubbly (which will differ from YG’s typical comfort zone of girl crush), it looks like YG has the perfect mix of girls to fit the style.
