On January 1, 2020, at 00:00 KST, LOONA released a teaser for their upcoming album '#'. The picture displays a moon along with the words "2020" and "Coming Soon".

The group previously released the pre-release single "360" on December 13, 2019, as the lead single for their upcoming album.
