Our favorite "8 makes 1 team" made their debut on the 2019 MAMA stage tonight, December 4, and won the Worldwide Fans’ Choice award!

Yunho, Seonghwa, San, Yeosang, Hongjoong, Wooyoung, Jongho, and Mingi shined as the first artists to appear on the red carpet, where they performed remix versions of “Say My Name” and “HALA HALA” – featured on their debut Japanese album.

However, the real show started later during the ceremony, when ATEEZ set the stage on fire with a powerful performance of “WONDERLAND”, that included intermittent renditions of K-pop hits like “Blood Sweat & Tears” (BTS), “View” (SHINee), and “Goodbye Baby” (miss A).

Unlike their red carpet looks, the members were dressed in all white, accompanied by an army of backup dancers who added to the formidable vibe of their stage. And Mingi came back stronger than ever, as he decided to kill all ATINYs by exposing his bare chest for the last part of the performance!

The best performance indeed! ATEEZ may not have won ROTY, but they definitely showed why they should.

During their thank-you speech after winning Worldwide Fans’ Choice, the leader expressed the team’s gratitude for this big award, thanking the fans, the members, their parents, KQ Entertainment, its CEO, as well as all the staff, choreographers and stylists. Hongjoong also promised that ATEEZ will come back with even better performances and music, and wrapped things up with a cute:
