Blip, the world's first fandom data observer founded by the music company Space Oddity, chose ATEEZ and Dreamcatcher as 'groups expected to grow significantly in 2020', as those groups showed a remarkable growth this year.
Recently Blip released a 'Year-end data report' that gathers artist related data from social media, such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, and Instagram.
According to the data, ATEEZ has shown a steep rise in YouTube subscribers more than double in the last 6 months. They had around 300,000 subscribers and now they have 714,000. Dreamcatcher had 26,000 subscribers in May and now they have 260,000.
In addition, ATEEZ's 'Wonderland' which was released in October surpassed 40 million views within 2 months, and Dreamcatcher's 'You and I' also surpassed 10 million views.
Proving popularity overseas, ATEEZ's concerts were successfully completed in 5 US cities and 10 European cities, starting in Los Angeles in March. Dreamcatcher has already completed its fifth overseas tour this year and successfully performed concerts in 7 cities in 7 countries including London, Italy, Milan, Italy and Berlin, Germany. Blip's representative said, "If the current growth rate continues, these artists will be a lot more influential artists in 2020."
In addition to this data, Dreamcatcher sold more than 55,000 units according to Gaon, and ATEEZ sold more than 400,000.
Also, ATEEZ is going to kick off their world tour in March 2020. More than 95% of tickets have already been sold within 2 days.
