TWICE becomes the best selling Korean girl group in Japan

The Japanese music market is considered the second biggest music market in the world behind the United States. For some Korean groups that are successful in Japan, it is one of the primary sources of income, even in today's western scramble. Girl Group TWICE now holds a prestigious record in this big market. They are now the best selling Korean girl group in Japan.

The record previously belonged to KARA, who was a very popular Korean girl group in Japan. KARA had released a total of thirty-six EP's and albums within their time together and sold over 3.2 million units in Japan. 

TWICE now holds the record with 3.4 million units sold overall. Congratulations to TWICE for their vast success!
