The Abusive Language Towards BTS JungKook In Chat Room
3,932
SEPTEMBER 2, 2019Some South Korean ARMY recently shocked everyone by hurling highly profane and abusive language when speaking about BTS member JungKook.
The reason?
Well, it was the K-Pop idol’s birthday recently, and these particular fans in the chatroom evidently seemed angry because they felt they prepared so much for him but went unnoticed.
The messages were allegedly from a large fan site known as Headliner.
The Qoo
“Jeon JungKook.”
“That motherf**ker.”
“How.”
“His birthday.”
“F***”
“For real”
“JungKook..”
“Ah, for real.”
“I want to beat the s*** out of him hahahahaha”
“F*** is he out of his mind? hahahahaha
The messages continue talking about how they felt JungKook wasn’t grateful and that fans shouldn’t spend any money on him, saying that it was a waste.
It is most unfortunate that JungKook had things like this said about him on his birthday.
And what makes things more disturbing is that these people are allegedly the ones who run fan sites.
According to South Korean netizens, the writer of these comments is also the same person who was being searched for on Naver due to some comments he or she left when discovering about INFINITE member L’s dating news.
Fansite masters going crazy like this is actually a regularly occurring thing.
The level of entitlement is real.
Idols can do everything right and if a fansite master feels slighted for whatever reason, they'll go on the attack like this.
Fans and fansite masters alike need to check themselves periodically if they feel like they're deserving of special treatment because fandom is a volunteer effort. If you expect to be rewarded for your fandom, you're barking up the wrong tree.
Fans are never personal friends of idols. The level of participation you invest in any celebrity is completely your decision and at no point does that entitle you to anything.
