On August 29, Former YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk was summoned at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Sophisticated Crime Investigation Division for his questioning over suspicions of illegally gambling overseas.
When he was asked about the suspicions of habitual gambling by reporters, he responded,” I will faithfully cooperate with the police investigation.” Regarding the use of “hwanchigi” for funding the gambling, he added,”I will explain the details at the police station.”
On August 28, Seungri was also summoned for same charge, he admitted for illegally gambling but denied using “hwanchigi” for funding the gambling.
