Actress Kim Hye-soo's mother is embroiled in #debttoo controversy totaling 1.3 billion won.

According to a news broadcast on the 10th, an informant revealed that he lent Kim's mother money to build a townhouse in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province. The informant reportedly has not received the money he lent her for 8 years.

Another informant claimed that he lent her the money because she was actress Kim Hye-soo's mother. The informant stated, "Because she was a public figure and many believed in the actress' name, I invested in her. Inevitably, we had to disclose her real name in order to prevent further damage."

Kim's mother reportedly borrowed some of the 1.3 billion won from incumbent lawmakers.

Her agency stated on the 10th, "We are currently confirming with Kim Hye-soo about the suspected debt."

    It’s sad when a parent use their child name without their permission. Her mother need to be put in jail. At least in America this would go on her mother credit instead of making the child pay for their parents mistakes.
