On 20 June, JTBC’s “Spotlight” gave a speech with Yang Hyun Suk about B.I's drug scandal and YG drug tests. He made a statement why drug tests were implemented at the label.

In addition to this, he spoke about B.I's drug allegations. On 12 June after the first reports about scandal, he told Dispatch in a call that YG strictly manages the drug use of their artists, iKON also underwent a urine examination ahead of their promotions and including B.I, none of the members tested positive.

Today Yang Hyun Suk again denied the suspicions that B.I used drugs and stated that his drug kit test had come out negative.

“Spotlight” reports that when they asked an expert about the reliability of drug test kits, they stated that it can be very difficult for the devices to detect accurately in cases such as when the user only took a small amount of the drug.
