"Jungkook soared above the audience like a hunky Mary Poppins," said the national British daily broadsheet newspaper 'The Daily Telegraph' while describing the performance of BTS at Wembley stadium.
Aside from the cute similarity with the magical and loving woman who descends from the clouds, 'The Telegraph' has truly appreciated the jaw-dropping performance of the youngest member of BTS considering it "the strongest of the show's seven solo performances.
American singer, songwriter and record producer Lauv, who attended the concert on the second day, posted Jungkook flying during Euphoria on his IG Stories.
lauv put jungkook flying around during euphoria on his ig story!
And for good reason, offering one of the concert's most exhilarating moments, Jungkook fearlessly glided across the stadium on a zip line, all while maintaining a crystal-clear falsetto for the vocally challenging song.
According to a poster released by BTS, this year’s Festa schedule will bring a piano version of Euphoria. We can then hear Jungkook’s soft voice soothe our hearts.
Add another nickname to the BTS arsenal of Western World nicknames given to describe BTS:
"third one on the left" (Jin)
"car door guy" (Jin)
"blonde guy with the silver jacket" (Jimin)
"Hunky Mary Poppins" (jungkook)
Let me know if you can think of any others.
I adore this Mary Poppins nickname because it shows that the Western World is truly taking notice of BTS, showing interest by associating comparisons to what they know in the Western World and their nicknames are getting more descriptive/personal than just "third one on the left".
World meet BTS....be prepared to be impressed and to fall in love.
