Someone Just Called Out Every Single Produce X 101 Trainee But Netizens Are Actually Agreeing With The Person

produce x 101

MAY 21, 2019

How do you feel about the current Produce X 101 trainees at the moment? Have anyone in mind to pick for the debut lineup? Well, it looks like some domestic viewers are not impressed so far with what they have seen.

On a popular online community in South Korea, one particular person basically called out pretty much every single idol trainee who are currently competing on the show. And netizens are currently actually agreeing with every word and are seeing it as a “wake up call”.

We’re quite certain that some of the idol trainees are actually giving it everything they can while maintaining a positive attitude, but there are currently people who think otherwise.

You can read the very lengthy roasting criticism below.

“They’re asking if it’s a sin to not know any unpopular idol songs, but it is actually weirder that they don’t know. They’ve said it themselves with their own lips that they want to become like BTS and EXO, yet they don’t know any of the idol debut songs? All of these guys are just afraid to be idol trainees under agencies for several years so are looking at this whole thing as a lottery, so they can skip all the hard sacrifices. Do they even know how long the guys in BTS, EXO, SEVENTEEN, MONSTA X, and etc. have trained?? LOL, they only see the popular idols and who they are today, and are completely unaware of the discography progress that all the big stars have made, and just want to imitate the idols who perform with hit songs. Is this the right attitude? They say they want to be the core of the K-Pop industry, but they are more ignorant than the consumers. Isn’t that funny? They haven’t even put in the time to analyze why the top idols are on top. They don’t know what kind of music the idols released to accumulate popularity, they don’t know anything about the individual characteristics of idol music. And seriously, none of these guys are even close to debuting and they’re trying to play on the same field as their seniors LOL, they should be grateful that they can even just stand on stage through the help of stylists. Even if there are unpopular songs, there are countless people who actually listen to it and enjoy it. An idols job is about giving happiness by doing their best on stage, regardless of how many people show up to the concerts and regardless of how many fans they have.”

And somewhere later down the paragraph, the writer states:

“Don’t they know that the current top idols never focused on just appearing cool on the outside but were actually passionate and hard working?”

Now that, is what you call a rant.

So how do other people feel about the statement that this person has just made?

“Seriously, they said that a certain group was their role model but how can they not know that group’s debut song? They just said the group was their role model???”

“For real, this is the same with people preparing for jobs as they apply to companies. They haven’t studied and so duh, they won’t get the job.”

“F***ing f***ing f***ing agree. Facts.”

“The thing I agree most with is them comparing themselves to the top idol sunbaes who have worked endlessly to get where they are, when they haven’t even debuted.”

What is your opinion about the current Produce X 101 trainees?

It's not "every single trainee" though. The only group so far that didn't know a song was "No More Dream" team. Others wanted to avoid difficult songs (that's understandable, it's a survival show after all and they all need to perform what they believe they can pull off best) such as 7th Sense, Clap, Mama, and NU'EST's.

I don't think it's right to "call out" every single trainee. They all worked hard to be in the show, for most of them it's their last chance at fulfilling their dream.

And, honestly, the trainees don't need to know all of the successful groups discography. That's impossible.
