Seohyun expressed great affection for her fans.
In an interview with 'Marie Claire,' Seohyun shared she has greeted a new season in her life and said, "I'm grateful to have opportunities to show varying sides of me. It's also fun to me how I get to discover new sides of myself."
Seohyun added, "If given the opportunity, I want to challenge myself with various projects without putting limits to genre or role." She also said, "My fans are the motivation that makes me work hard. I read fan letters whenever I'm having a hard time."

Seohyun is one of those relatively rare idols who doesn't have many haters. That probably makes reading fan mail a much more pleasant experience. She could probably sit down with a box of fan mail that hasn't been pre-screened and find mostly positive things. I really have never seen anyone in the industry ever say something negative about her. That's a real testament to her character to have been a celeb this long and never have a significant scandal or have anyone bad mouth her.
