'Juror 8' team apologized for making an illegal U-turn.
On May 13, the cast of the new film visited Daegu for a premiere event. An issue arose after the cast illegally stopped traffic and made an illegal U-turn.
Photos and videos of the traffic violation spread online and netizens fired criticism, stating, "Who do they think they are to be regulating traffic without permission?" "Celebrities think they're all that but they don't have the right to do that."
In response to the criticism, a rep of 'Juror 8' apologized, stating, "A huge crowd formed in front of the theater due to the event. The (event) operation team failed to check properly while moving the cars. We apologize for causing discomfort to the citizens. We will make sure such an incident doesn't occur again."
Meanwhile, 'Juror 8' starring Hyungsik, Moon So Ri, and more tells the story of ordinary people being jurors in court. The film is releasing on May 15.
