"Settlement" is a nice word for "paid off". Well, there is only one winner here, and it's not Hyorin.

Maybe this is an unpopular thought process- but I sincerely hope that if they settled, the victim was properly compensated, either emotionally or monetarily, and not scared into settling. Everyone is saying they assume that settled means that Hyorin paid her off, but I would also argue that it could also mean that the victim was scared into silence. We don't know for certain as they handled the ending of this privately, but the whole situation leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And what about the other people that came forward? Were they also victims, or were they jumping on the bandwagon? Whatever the situation may be, I just hope the original person who came forward will be able to find peace in their life now.
