According to a report by chaebul.com, Park Jin Young topped the list with the highest valued stock.
Per the report, the stock values as of April 18th were as follows:
- 1. Park Jin Young - 17.8% ownership in JYP valued at 192.2 billion KRW (~$169,000,000)
- 2. Lee Soo Man - 20.0% ownership in SME valued at 181.8 billion KRW (~$159,000,000)
- 3. Yang Hyun Suk - 19.07% ownership in YGE valued at 126.3 billion KRW (~$111,000,000)
- 4. Actor Bae Yong Joon - 4.05% ownership in SME valued at 37.9 billion KRW ($~33,000,000)
- 5. Han Sung Ho - 22.02% ownership in FNC valued at 28.6 billion won ($~25,000,000)
Per the report, the stocks named above saw growth/decline since the end of 2018 as follows:
- 1. JYP - ↑ 1.0%
- 2. SME - ↓ 21.1%
- 3. YGE - ↓ 20.3%
- 4. FNC - ↑ 14.6%
As of April 18th, JYP Entertainment was the only company out of the three agencies (SM, YG, JYP) to still have a market capitalization that exceeded 1 trillion KRW ($~970,000,000).
