Melon crashes following the release of BTS' new album 'Map of the Soul: Persona'

Melon, South Korea's major music streaming site, crashed following BTS' new release. 

On April 12, BTS released the new album 'Map of the Soul: Persona.' Users of Melon reported they're having trouble accessing the website, as well as the app following the release. The crash lasted for more than an hour. 

Regarding the issue, a rep from Melon told CBS No Cut News, "Due to high traffic, there have been connection issues on the mobile app. We're looking into the issue and will take immediate action."'

'Map of the Soul: Persona' came with an MV for "Boy With Luv" feat. Halsey. You can view the new MV here.
