On April 3, Super Junior's Label SJ has issued an official statement of response against ongoing suspicions that Kangin is involved in singer Jung Joon Young's Kakao chat rooms, where he distributed illegal footage without permission.
The label revealed,
"It is true that at the time of the variety show filming, there was a group chat room which included Jung Joon Young. The chat room has long since disappeared after the end of the variety program 3 years ago, and while Kangin does not remember what specific conversations took place in the chat room, he is certain that there was no filming or distribution of any illegal footage.
Regarding this matter, we have not received any official summons from the investigation team in question; however, in the case that we do receive a summons, we will cooperate diligently."
Earlier, singer Jinwoon and model Lee Chul Woo also gave statements regarding their suspected involvement with Jung Joon Young. The 4 cast members in question worked together for JTBC variety program 'Hitmaker'.
i cant believe all you idiots.... this wasnt even an actual report but just netizens digging up anyone who ever heard of people in chats with JJY. literally just netizens causing issues with RUMORS yet you guys are all willing to "cancel" the names that come up. if the actual news (not allkpop) reports on something or the police say something, then we'll talk. but until then? yall should stop believing everything just because of netizens' rumors.
