Yoon Kyun Sang's pet cat Somyi has sadly passed away. 

On March 28, Yoon Kyun Sang shared the sad news via Instagram. He announced, "Our maknae Somyi has passed away around 6 on March 27. Waste entered her lungs while spitting out a hairball, leading to pneumonia."

Yoon Kyun Sang explained the illness seemed to be getting better but ultimately took the life of Somyi. 

He added, "Nobody starts a relationship thinking of the end. Tears are dropping as I write this. My head feels like it's going to burst and my chest feels like it's on fire." Yoon Kyun Sang encouraged proper care and love for pets, stating, "I once again ask you to not adopt pets just out of curiosity or for selfish desires."

Lastly, Yoon Kyun Sang asked for prayers on Somyi, and said, "My daughter, I'm sorry for not being a better dad."
