Shannon confirms she has left MBK Entertainment

Shannon is a free agent.

The British-Korean singer held another Q&A session via Instagram story. One fan asked, "Are you still a singer? Or retired?" Shannon replied, "I'm still singing. Just not in a company for now hahahha."


Based on her answer, it's confirmed Shannon has finally left MBK Entertainment. 

Back in January, Shannon revealed she decided to leave the agency, as well as South Korea. She explained the agency used her voice as a guide without permission, not credited her English lyrics for songs, passed songs meant for her to other artists, and used her to promote other label artists.

YES! Free at last is all I'm singing right now. It sucks though because while she still has a fanbase, it'll be hard for her to gain recognition after being forced into hiatus for so damn long. Stupid MBK.
