The all-new season of 'Produce 101' is speedily gaining its mass popularity.
On March 21, Mnet's 'M! Countdown' episode revealed the first performance of 'Produce X 101's main theme song "X1-MA". After the air, the video was uploaded on Mnet's official YouTube channel, where the video gained a high number of views within hours.
As of March 23 KST, a little less than two days after its reveal, the video reached over 3.6 million views, a threefold increase in the growth rate compared to 'Produce 101 Season 2's "Pick Me". However, one of the main reasons considered is the fact that the performance had been shared on YouTube faster than did the videos of the previous seasons; this theme song had been uploaded at the same time across all platforms for the first time in 'Produce 101' history.
