With Seungri currently under police investigation on charges involving prostitution services, his lawyer stepped up in defense of the singer.

When asked about text messages between Seungri and 'A' the lawyer stated, "They were friends 'A' brought with her.  The comment in the katalk about "ones that give well" is a typo.  Seungri meant those that "play well". Seungri doesn't use vulgar language like that."

Netizens took to social media and online to share their frustrations about the clarifications saying, "Enough with you, f*ck.  Does he really think we're that stupid? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. "This ba$tard ㅋㅋㅋ your jokes are going too far now ㅋㅋ really? a typo?" "Wow, your excuse is hilarious. ㅋㅋ The typo excuse would've made more sense if they claimed 'girls who sh*t well'... (TN: 'put out' and 'sh*t' are one character apart)." "Seungri's still coming up with childish excuses in a situation like this. Just say that your cat typed it for you. "

Some believed that Seungri and the lawyer were taking the public for fools as they shared varied comments online saying, "Does he really think we're that stupid? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Is Seungri's lawyer a gagman? Do you believe in your own words?? Lawyer-nim... admit it, not only is this giving you the biggest headache but you're embarrassed too, right? In the meantime Seungri is also undergoing questioning for alleged illegal operations regarding his club Monkey Museum.  This is the fourth time Seungri has attended a police station for questioning.
