According to an Billboard article... ITZY still holds the title for the most viewed debut music video in 24 hours. Despite the efforts of dedicated TXT fans, the debut Dalla Dalla by JYP's newest girl group... ITZY could not be reached by BigHit's monster rookies. ITZY's debut MV received a record breaking total of 17.1 million views in 24 hours (according to YouTube). But, don't worry TXT fans... because they still hold the most viewed debut MV for any male K-pop group.
Although many believed TXT had taken the "crown" from ITZY, since after 24 hours ITZY's debut MV had 13.9 million views, while Crown by TXT received 14.1 million views according to each group's official music videos on their Youtube channels. But, Billboard has revealed that YouTube has provided an official TOP10 list with the accurate total views for both ITZY and TXT's debut MVs... putting ITZY back at the top with over 17.1 million views in total after YouTube's full evaluation. Many have been confused by the increase of views TXT and ITZY has received despite their previous stats. While others are saying that while views are frozen due to high audience rates within the 24 hour range of the music videos being released. YouTube still keeps track of the music video views all the way until it has reached exactly 24 hours since uploaded. Therefore, YouTube's official results/numbers may be different from what was seen on each group's MV at the time of the 24 hour mark, and wasn't a true representation of their official TOP10 list that has now been officially released via Billboard article.
