CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment form 'Belift Lab' to debut new idol group in 2020

CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment have founded a new label.

The two labels came together to create 'Belif Lab', which will be headed by CEO Kim Tae Ho. Belift Lab is preparing to debut a male idol group in 2020. The group will be managed by Bang Si Hyuk. To find members for the new group, Belift will be holding auditions in Korea, USA, and Japan starting from March 30th.

Well, I am not too hopeful. Before BTS, every group of bighit was comanaged, and it did not sit well, did it? Also, 2020 is much too early to start another group when they debuted one just this year. I hope they can keep their attention focused on BTS... and TXT.

I'm not sure what I think of this. They are going to need a strong solid concept straight from the start if they want to get noticed and not overshadowed by BTS and TXT.
