Six male idol trainees are accusing their company CEO of sexual assault.
On the afternoon of the 8th, KBS2 TV's 'Entertainment Broadcast' aired an episode that covered the assaults of the six male idol trainees. The trainees recently filed a complaint with the Seoul District Prosecutors Office for 'Special Act of Punishment of Sexual Violence' against their company CEO.
Among the plaintiffs are 'Produce 101' season 2 trainees where male idol 'A' alleges that in a restaurant in Tokyo in September 2018 "I was molested by Ms. A during a party dinner," he said. "After the performance, we went to eat at a sushi restaurant. She touched our thighs and even got her hands on my genitals. Afterwards, she even asked the waitress to take a picture of us. I'm currently visiting a psychiatrist because of the mental trauma."
On the other hand, the company's representatives denied the claims made by the male idol trainees saying, "At the time, there were many people walking back and forth at the restaurant because it's an open room," a source from the agency said. "Ms. A's daughter and nephew were also present in front of them so the claim that all this happened at the time doesn't make sense."
As such, the official positions of the male idol trainees and the CEO of the agency are sharply divided. Netizens are paying attention to the controversy saying "We need to wait and learn more because there is no exact truth yet."

I hope no one takes these guys claims less seriously because they are male. Being physically violated is the same no matter what the gender.
