Legendary JTBC drama series 'SKY Castle' has come to an end, after its immensely successful 20-episode run.

This week's finale episode of 'SKY Castle' recorded an average viewership rating of 23.779% according to Nielsen Korea - once again the highest rating the drama achieved during its entire run. Last week, the drama recorded an average rating of 23.216%, proving that its viewers stuck around eagerly to catch the story's ending. 

The legendary drama first began on November 23, 2018 with an average viewership rating of 1.727%. However, by episode 18 aired on January 19, 'SKY Castle' achieved a record-high in viewership ratings with an average of 22.316% - the highest ever rating for any cable broadcasting station in history. The previous record was held by tvN's 'Goblin' at 20.5%. 

Starting next week, new JTBC law firm drama 'Legal High' will take over 'SKY Castle's timeslot on Fridays and Saturdays at 11 PM KST.
