It's been a while since we have idol group such as Super Junior and SNSD that really good at Variety Show (VS). In my opinion and knowledge these two groups are the most successful group in VS and they even had their own VS, and the show is not boring as well.

These days it's rare to find a whole group that are really good in VS. I'd says some groups only had few of it's member having good overall performance in these field. I can name Blackpink's Jennie, Baekhyun of EXO, AOA's Seolhyun, etc.

While it's fun for us to watch VS on tv, it's not the same with the artist and their company. Some artist admit that they were afraid to attend a VS, while some company choose not to let their artist to be on a VS. take an example of 2 big star, PSY and BTS.

But i was quite surprised to see how well Iz*one on a VS. Not only it's fun (since i can say this because i'm being biased), but almost all of the members shares a good amount of Screen time. Well yes some members are having more than the others.

But let's compare it to their seniors, twice is having so many VS these days, but Chaeyoung and Mina almost had no screen time on Running Man recently or well let's be fair on Idol Room also. These happened in many groups as well.

Iz*one of course had some members that so quiet, like Minju or Hyewon, and had 3 Japanese members that just learned Korean when they're in PD48. But it's still surprising to see even their Japanese members to have as much screen time as the others. And what's making me more surprised that this is came from a rookie group, in many cases rookie groups are supposed to maintain their images on TV. But well done Iz*one, they're not and they make the show became fun.
