BTS is the Korean artist with the largest international sales last year.
According to Gmarket, 'Love Yourself: Tear' was the #1 selling album last year to overseas customers. The percentage of sales was 21% for all BTS albums, meaning that BTS by themselves made up 1/5th of all sales. According to Gmarket, the number of international sales of books/CDs went up 62% since 2017, and the number of idol goods sold overseas also jumped 54%.

That's incredible BTS by themselves, for people from other fandoms to think that they aren't making that big of an impact or elevating kpop as a whole to levels it's never been are really delusional, the numbers speak for themselves
