A 26-year-old Chinese woman "Anna", identified as the alleged drug supplier for "Burning Sun," a popular club in Gangnam, has complained of unfairness on a broadcast.
On an interview with KBS' Channel A that was aired on the 18th, Anna, who is under police investigation for allegedly supplying drugs to Burning Sun completely denied the allegations saying she had never sold drugs. "It's really unfair,"she said in the interview. "I don't even smoke. I have never sold or given any drugs. The unidentified liquid seized from my home is merely cat eye medicine and the white powder is laundry detergent." The police are reportedly conducting a thorough analysis of the confiscated goods.
She also explained her relationship with Seungri. She had previously been suspected of being a close acquaintance of Seungri when a photo taken with the Big Bang member in October last year surfaced on SNS. Seungri had explained the photo saying, "I was at the club and she asked me to take a picture. I don't remember who it was."
According to her, she has no special relationship with Seungri, the Burning Sun director, who had stepped down before the scandal broke out. I took the picture with Seungri as a simple fan. She remembers seeing him at the club and thinking, "Isn't Seungri famous? Can I take a picture," she had asked. "Take a picture," Seungri replied, so she took it.
Meanwhile, Anna is suspected of working as an MD (Merchandiser) at Burning Sun and supplying drugs to VIP customers. She voluntarily surrendered herself to the Police on the 16th and was investigated for about 14 hours. She is currently banned from leaving the country. Police have taken her hair and urine samples to check for drug use and have asked the National Institute of Scientific Investigation for an in-depth analysis. Apparently, the Police have secured a statement from a reference who suggested that she (Anna) recommended drugs to the neighborhood.
