The pyrotechnics at the '28th Seoul Music Awards' scared away several artists.
On January 15, the annual award ceremony took place at Gocheok Sky Dome. During BTS' stage for "Fake Love," multiple fireworks went off on stage.
The pyrotechnics happened to be set right behind the artist section. Many idols are captured surprised by the loud noise and explosion. Some members of Seventeen and TWICE are even seen running away from their seats.
Fans worried about the artists' safety, commenting, "They're seated way too close to the explosives," "They all look so terrified," "I thought it was a bomb."
That is insane. NO other artist had explosives like that, I don't think. So no wonder they were so shocked. The tables were WAY too close. I am glad no one was hurt, but their ears must be ringing. SMA needs to take responsibility for that.
