'@star1' released the photos and interview with KNK, who made their long-awaited comeback with 'Lonely Night.'
2018 was a turbulent year for KNK as Youjin was diagnosed with panic disorder and eventually left the group. The other members also terminated their contracts with YNB Entertainment. When asked how they have been through the long hiatus, KNK replied, "We had a difficult year that we do not want to remember," however, "It was an opportunity for us to grow and mature. We were able to grow during the hiatus."
KNK welcomed the new member Dongwon this year. To the question asking if he felt any pressure, Dongwon answered, "When I first received the offer, I felt like I couldn't do it. I was worried that I might be a harm to KNK who've already been together for years."
Dongwon continued, "But the members encouraged me so I'm adjusting to it now and the pressure is declining." The members also expressed appreciation toward Dongwoon, as well as their fans for accepting the change.
