SHINee's Onew revealed a mystical, mysterious music video for "Blue".
Onew is dropping his first solo album 'Voice' and title track "Blue" ahead of his military enlistment on December 10, and the MV features a mysterious theme surrounding a mysterious blue gem. As previously reported, Onew's title track "Blue" is an old, jazz-pop inspired R&B genre, comparing the feelings of loneliness to the vastness of the sea.

What a beautiful MV. What an amazing voice.
It is very likely to be about Jonghyun, I feel like.
The 4 dimonds in the beginning could be the four remaining members, and then the diamond across the sky would be Jonghyun.
My take on this is that the people with their eyes covered are judgemental, critezining people, and when Onew is surrounded by them, perhaps about to crack from the pressure, the shining light (aka. Jonghyun) comes to give him strength.
And, though this could be me overanalyzing, when Onew places the sole diamond at that thing in the end, it has 5 mirrors surrounding it, which could symbolize that the 5 members will always be one group (like the diamond is SHINee, and the mirrors are the members). Idk.
Either way, it is such a beautiful piece of work, and it seems like it reflects the hardships Onew has been through the last years.
I wish all the best for him <3
