Another celebrity's parent has been accused of fraud on November 29, nearly two weeks after the initial controversy involving rapper Microdot's parents.
According to online posts, actor Ma Dong Suk's father borrowed money from an acquaintance 'Kim' back in 2010, on the basis of business investment purposes. 'Kim's side claimed that Ma Dong Suk's father borrowed 500 million KRW (~ 446,000 USD) from 'Kim's retirement fund, but during a legal suit some time afterward, court declared Ma Dong Suk's father guilty of obtaining 300 million KRW (~267,000 USD) fraudulently. 'Kim's side recently came forward via an online community post to state, "We hope [Ma Dong Suk's father] apologizes sincerely for his actions, and reflects on his mistake throughout his life."
In response to the claims, Ma Dong Suk's label TCO ent told media outlets, "It's true that Ma Dong Suk's father borrowed money for investment purposes in 2010, but due to disagreements regarding the borrowed amount, a legal court case followed; after the court ruling, Ma Dong Suk's father paid off the debt amount in full, as confirmed by Ma Dong Suk's father's lawyer."
Furthermore, Ma Dong Suk's side relayed, "Regardless of reasons, we bow our heads in apology for worrying everyone with such troubling news. In the events that Ma Dong Suk must fulfill additional responsibilities, he will do so until the end as the status of a proper son in order to repay the victims fully both legally and morally. The label will in turn do our best to resolve the situation properly."

This right here is just PLAIN RIDICULOUS. Debts paid off already. Get over it, holy shit. What is this a witch hunt for all celebrities with parents that had some kind of fraud and debt? I would understand if it wasn't paid off, but this was paid off. Why bring it up when its been dealt with???
