EXO's D.O opened up about learning how to tapdance for his upcoming movie 'Swing Kids' during a special V Live broadcast with his fellow castmates Park Hye Soo and Oh Jung Se and director Kang Hyung Chul.
During the broadcast, the idol revealed that he wore tap shoes for roughly ten months, including the pre-production rehearsals. He enjoyed tapdancing so much that even after filming, he would continue to dance.
"At first, I did not know how well this role would suit me," he admitted before adding that he actually had a lot of fun during filming. "I heavily considered the character's personality. I was constantly adjusting it as I talked with the director. I learned a lot through constant practice and working with my instructors on tapdance and North Korean dialect."
Oh Jung Se then complimented D.O's work ethic, noting that despite the fact the idol's busy schedule kept him from having a lot of time to practice, he still managed to outperform the rest of the cast.
