YG Entertainment has apologized for unintentionally playing a clip of iKON at WINNER's 'Everywhere' tour concert in Kuala Lumpur on October 14.
WINNER fans demanded an apology from the label after a VCR of iKON was played at WINNER's concert in Malaysia and music not related to WINNER was played during the event. YG Entertainment released the following statement:
"We sincerely apologize to the WINNER fans who were hurt due to the unrelated video and music played at the 'WINNER 2018 Everywhere Tour in Kuala Lumpur' this past weekend. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused by the programmer's carelessness and incorrect file management. The person in charge took responsibility and left the tour schedule afterwards, and the program was checked multiple times afterwards."
As previously reported, this isn't the first time Inner Circle was put off by YG Entertainment's management of WINNER's events. In the past, an official fan cafe post addressed them as iKONICs, and at a Seoul WINNER fan meet, staff welcomed them to the iKON concert. Yang Hyun Suk has also previously written "iKON's tour" as the hashtag for WINNER's promotion.
What are your thoughts on the concert error?

It's a shame that YG is so unsubtle with showing his preference for certain artists or groups. Team B / iKON had always clearly been his favorite out of the two groups, even back when they were still on the survival show. Making a mistake once by adding the wrong hashtag is one thing but making a mistake multiple times, that's just deliberate.
YG, your bias is showing. Make sure to double and triple check next time so you can promote your artists properly.
