Kang Sung Hoon spoke up about the various controversies.
He wrote a handwritten apology letter on Hoony World where he wrote, "I know it's been a hard month for my fans who believed in me. I'm sincerely sorry that I've caused a controversy to the people who have been interested in me. I've never thought before that [the fans] were a source of just money, I've never looked down on you, and I never thought that I could ever ignore you. I was always sincere, and I have always treated you with sincerity. I hope you understand that."
He also said, "I will reveal the truth so you can understand all of it. Can I ask for you to trust me and wait for me? After everything is settled, all of the Hoony World staff will be leaving. I'm sorry again for causing pain after promising we would never be apart again. If a miracle happens and I see you again, I pray that I will be able to face you with a smile."
